Mark has spent over twenty years building and then consolidating an insurance intermediary business operating solely within a specific niche. Despite its success, he has continually resisted the urge, as many would have done, to rest on his laurels and is constantly seeking to add real value to the existing product range and cross sell to his loyal customer base. It is this continued enthusiasm that led him to see the opportunity of operating a similar business on a broader platform built upon his expertise of running successful schemes.
Stephen has for many years held senior underwriting posts within insurance organisations. Latterly he has been a director of an insurance group comprising an underwriting agency and insurance company and the schemes underwriter for one of the largest Lloyd’s syndicates. This wealth of knowledge and experience has enabled Oasis Underwriting to gain insurer support to operate as a “virtual insurer” which facilitates our ability to manage schemes to the full advantage of our intermediary partners.
Simon has several years’ experience of working within a specialist insurance intermediary in various roles which has provided him with a thorough grounding in what makes such an entity operate effectively and efficiently. He has brought this knowledge and skills into Oasis Underwriting to ensure that our systems and processes remain fully compliant on the one hand whilst acting to the full benefit of the business on the other.
Alex has enjoyed a varied and diverse sales background before moving into insurance 5 years ago. He was recruited to develop a niche scheme which at the time had been run almost exclusively by another intermediary who was enjoying a virtual monopoly with a policyholder count in excess of 50,000. Alex has completely turned the tables and from a standing start now controls the niche with over 40,000 policyholders, whilst at the same time diversifying into similar fields within the same sector. He is now offering his sales skills and in particular the experience he gained from this facility to benefit intermediaries who are currently partnering us.
